Last year ‘Bigg Boss’ was the most popular reality shows on Indian television. Colors TV is coming back with Big Boss 3 where Big B - Amitabh Bachchan will be seen. Amitabh replaces Shilpa Shetty who was hosting Big Boss Season 2.

Amitabh Bachchan, who has created waves in the Television industry as host of superhit game show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’,
is making a comeback to the small screen after a four years.
Big B's role in ‘Bigg Boss’ has been defined as that of a ‘Pop Philosopher’, which is a unique concept that will be one of the differentiators of this season.
In this role, Amitabh will bridge the gap between ‘Bigg Boss’ participants and viewers through contextualising events,
simplifying emotions as well as analysing developments that happen within the ‘Bigg Boss’ house.
"Now, the discussion will move to a dinner-table introspection level. Why were the contestants doing what they were doing... what were their motivations or thinking behind it, etc."
